Plays like a mix of a boomstick and an RPM paddle. Very grippy so you are able to put a bunch of top spin on the ball which makes your drives more consistent. It also has good control when it comes to dinking. The sweet spot isn’t the biggest but if you add weights it makes the sweet spot bigger.

I recently received the Firepower paddle from Tier 1 Pickleball, and it has exceeded every expectation I had. The power upgrade is immediate — drives come off the face with real pop — yet the paddle still gives me excellent control on touch shots, resets, and dinks. It’s that rare blend of explosiveness and finesse that instantly boosts my confidence on the court.

The new production all-foam core production is a standout improvement. I’ve dealt with elbow pain and shoulder discomfort for a while, especially after long sessions. Since switching to the Firepower, that pain is gone, so much so I have ditched my braces. The paddle absorbs vibration incredibly well, giving me a smoother, more comfortable swing without sacrificing performance. It’s the first time in months I’ve finished a full day of play feeling great instead of worn down and in pain.

The paddle also stands out — the design turns heads, and everyone at the club wants to check it out and give it a try. It’s fun showing off a paddle that performs this well and looks this good.

The paddle looks fantastic, feels premium, and is clearly built with real attention to detail.

And it’s not just the paddle — Tier 1’s t‑shirts deserve a shout‑out too. The designs are sharp, the material is incredibly comfortable, and they’ve quickly become my first choice when I need a shirt. It’s rare to find gear that looks good, feels good, and holds up well, but Tier 1 nails it.

What makes all of this even better is knowing Tier 1 Pickleball proudly supports military members and first responders. I love backing companies that stand for something meaningful, and it feels good to support a brand with that kind of mission and integrity.

The Firepower paddle is powerful, comfortable, great‑looking, and backed by a company worth supporting. Five stars without hesitation.

Weight is balanced and not head heavy. A lot of controlled power. Very happy with the play.
